RWMA Research Associates

 

Brandon Taylor completed his M.S. in Geosciences from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in February of 2010 and subsequently joined the staff of RWMA in October of 2010. As a graduate student he was involved in a variety of field and lab projects that addressed diverse geologic, environmental and climatologic issues, including the reconstruction of late Holocene climate in Southeastern Brazil.  While working toward his B.S. in Geology from SUNY Oneonta Brandon was fortunate enough to participate in fieldwork across the U.S. including glacial geology/glaciology studies on the Bering Glacier in Alaska and speleological studies in Carlsbad Caverns National Park.

 

 Jackie Travers graduated from the University of Vermont May 2008 with a major in Environmental Sciences, following 8 semesters on the Dean’s List. She was also on a Presidential Scholarship for 4 years. Ms. Travers took courses in environmental hydrology, ecological risk assessment and pollutant movement in the environment. As an undergraduate, she also worked for the Watershed Alliance, assessing the quality of Vermont Streams, and on an air quality monitoring project. She is skilled in soil and groundwater sampling and the use of ArcGISA At RWMA, Ms. Travers has assisted in analyzing nuclear transportation accident analysis for the State of Nevada using GIS software, and in evaluating the effect of NORM contamination on workers in Louisiana.
